    Hp Print Experience Center

We had a great time at the Hp Print Experience Center event hosted by AIGA Atlanta this February. The event included guided tours of the Hp digital press studios, Neenah paper samples, wine + snacks, and a drawing for prizes.

Sadly, we did not win any prizes, but we were selected to submit a poster design to be printed on Hp’s digital presses. We thought ourselves very cool :)

    Free Valentine and Un-Valentine Printables!

This year we each did a custom Valentine and Un-Valentine poster design. We love how they turned out and wanted to share them with you.

Alicia did a fun cynical take on Valentine cards with her set of “Un-Valentines.” This 11x17” print can be quickly and easily trimmed into six 5.5x5.67” cards. They are so clever and funny, don’t you just love them?

Download: 12x18” All You Need Is Love (PDF)
Laurel did a 12x18” Valentine poster featuring big and li’l designer pups’ silhouettes. “All You Need Is Love” is a great poster print for anyone special in your life. It would work equally well framed in a bold-colored nursery or hanging in your husband’s workspace.

    Enjoy!

For the Love of Dog, Adopt

I just can’t say how much I love the opportunity to support this cause (and add a design-y t-shirt to my closet).

If you’re an animal lover like me…

    And
your heart breaks every time you see a facebook post to find a home for a lost pup or see a flyer stapled to a telephone pole about a found, lost kitty…

And you already have two dogs…

And your husband would FREAK if you brought another animal into your small, city home with no yard

Well, this is a good way to support the cause! Snag your own clever and cute For the Love of Dog, Adopt! shirt from Vaute Couture for $26.

    a peek at my workspace…

This isn’t really a design-related post, but the unplanned pink-scene on my desk made me smile and I thought I would share :)

    Last-Minute Stocking Stuffers

A few things to inspire some last-minute shopping!

Super-cute initial paper weights in a fun chalkboard motif.
    $8/each from West Elm

Christmas is the perfect time for a new calendar… these monthly illustrated prints from The Indigo Bunting Shop are festive and useful. $30/set

One more for the bar-minded… My favorite cocktail lately is a crisp, refreshing Moscow Mule. The vodka, ginger beer, and lime combo is even more enjoyable when sipping from the traditional copper mugs! Aren’t they gorgeous? I found these on ebay. I’ve seen them on overstock as well. Expect to pay about $100/set of 4.
